Explore the prices of selected fuels in Nigeria. The data is sourced from the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics. The prices are updated monthly or whenever new data is published by the NBS. Where possible, you will be able to see the current national average price of the fuel item, the regional average price, and the historical price trend.

Petrol prices in Nigeria

The average national price per litre as of Oct 2024 is about ₦1185. The map below shows relative price difference from the national average for each state. The states are colored based on the difference from the national average price where red indicates a higher price than the national average and blue indicates a lower price than the national average.

The cheapest price per liter is in Delta at ₦1050 while the most expensive price per liter is in Ebonyi at ₦1293.
