Legislators from Cross River State Removed from Office on March 21st 2022

On March 21st 2022, Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court gave a judgment in a suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/975/2021, stating that the following legislators had to vacate their public offices since they had abandoned the political party which brought them into office. The legislators had defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Two out of the 20 affected legislators represent Federal constituencies at the House of Representatives, National Assembly.
